Thunder Wolves Win by 7 Wickets

High Court Greens batted first against Thunder Wolves and were outdone with both bat and ball at the Independence Cup final. After losing opener Asghar Agha for 3 and one down Vinod Ramesh for duck, the team never really recovered after that. Ali Naqi was the only player from his side to show any intent with a fighting 44 while the rest of the side threw away their wickets to be restricted to a low 133 for 7 in 20 overs. Farhan Khan also chipped in with a cameo of 27. Wolves bowlers were aggressive against the opposition with Jamil Agha and Faizan Khan taking 2 wickets each.

In response, Thunder Wolves also lost opener Ahmed Khan for 5 runs but were able to comfortably catch up. Fareed Ullah Agha was the star for his side with a sublime 66 off 42 as Thunder Wolves chased down the target in 18.3 overs. High Court Greens bowlers were unable to pick wickets or put any pressure on.

Thunder Wolves won by 7 wickets and were crowned champions.
