Bilal Associates beat Arsalan Iqbal by five runs in the final of the Winter Classic Cup.
After a slow start, Bilal Associates picked up steam as Hamza Qadir, not out, smashed 74 from 47. His knock helped push the total to 133 where the rest of the batting order failed. Arsalan Iqbal took three wickets while Zafar Ali and Najeeb Ur Rehman took two each.
Arsalan Iqbal fought long and hard as Daniyal Liaquat made 29 from 21 and Ammar Iqbal made 35 from 26. Unfortunately they fell short of just 5 runs as the aggressive bowling attack of Bilal Associates took over. Farhan Nisar, Arif Yaqoob and Bilawal Malik took two wickets each.
