Al Zohaib beat Friends Communication by a mere 10 runs at the TMC Ground this week.
Al Zohaib was off to a blazing start as Rameez Mehboob made 83 from 54, Adeel Rizvi made 24 from 28 and Haider Ali Bangash made 69 from 26. They made 191 in 20 overs for the loss of just four wickets. Bilal Iqbal took three wickets.
Friends Communication fought back valiantly but in the end it was not enough. Shahvez Yaqoob made 46 from 36, Ali Naveed made 66 from 37 and Ghazanfar Ritchie made 29 from 22. Mustufa Fattani took three wickets while Naveed Nagada and Idrees Amin took two.
