Wazir Ali Khoja Lions (WAK) batted first against Camran CC at the 26th Challengers Corporate Cup. Lions however could not get going at any stage, throwing away their wickets, contributing little to the scoreboard. Ahsan Abdullah's top scored for his side with a mere 22 runs while Hasan Mehmood had scored 19 as WAK were restricted to 111 for 9 in 20 overs. Camran CC bowlers were superb with the ball with Mir Ahnaf, Nawaz Badal and Ikram Ul Haq taking 2 wickets each to keep the pressure on.
In response, Camran CC opener Ismail Shah was dismissed for duck but Adeel Khan singlehandedly swept the game away. Adeel scored an explosive, unstoppable 86 off 30 which included 7 fours and 9 sixes as Camran CC raced to victory in just 9.3 overs. Lions bowlers were helpless against the onslaught.
