Dolphins CC went up against the Mavericks in the Dr. Junaid Ali Shah tournament.
The first innings started with the Dolphins CC opening batsmen, Akhtar Muhammad and Adeel Khan, taking apart the Mavericks’ bowlers. Muhammad scored 40 off 32 as his partner sped to 42 runs off just 19 balls. The middle order supported the opening effort well as Ejaz Shah produced a fiery knock of 63 from 23 balls. Mavericks’ chase began steadily with the openers scoring 31 from 27 deliveries before giving away their wickets. The middle order immediately lost its way after the openers’ exit as Umair Botam kept striking frequently. His four wickets put Dolphins CC in a commanding position.
