AA Associates were matched up against AAG CC.
AAG CC batted first with Kamran Ibrahim showing his classy form early on. He scored 73 from 38 balls in an innings that featured 9 fours and 4 sixes. Unfortunately, the remainder of the batting order had absolutely nothing to show for as Associates' bowlers started chipping away at the line-up. The first innings turned into an AAG vs. Muhamed Hassan story as the young lad seemed unstoppable. He dismissed one batsman after another, eventually gathering seven wickets to his name while giving away a mere 15 runs. He single-handedly restricted AAG from building on Kamran Ibrahim's initial knock as the team was bowled out for 146.
AA Associates' opener Ali Naveed crafted an innings to match that of Kamran Ibrahim's. His 77 from 51 balls laid an excellent foundation for the Associates. Farhan Nadeem at No. 3 scored 46 from 46. The batsmen kept the rate cruising around seven without taking unnecessary risks. With AAG's bowlers unable to even collectively match the first inning heroics of Muhamed Hassan, the Associates managed an easy win.
The game was won by the AA Associates with 7 wickets to spare.
