Mandi House Batsmen Overpower Tornado Sports

Mandi House went up against the Tornado Sports Company in the 25th Challengers Cup.

Mandi House batsmen took to the crease first. Despite losing an opener early on, the team got off to a good start. Sufiyan Abdullah smashed a clinical half century off 26 deliveries, registering 4 fours and 4 sixes in the process. His power hitting was partnered with Zia Khan's sublime 32 off 25. Down the order, Raad Ali also contributed with 45 from 23, paving the path for the lower order to do some damage towards the end. Although Tornado Sports kept hitting back with wickets, the run flow did not cease as Mandi House closed their innings with 201 runs on the board.

In response, Tornado Sports' batsmen began the second innings in a jittery manner. The top four batsmen failed to get past 20 runs. Zulqarnain Khan at No. 5 tried to salvage the batting effort as he struck 77 from 40 balls. Mandi House bowlers, however, kept the run rate in check with consistent strikes. Zia Khan's 3 wickets for 18 runs hampered Tornado Sports' efforts as they managed just 179 runs in 20 overs.

Mandi House won the match by 22 runs.
