Dolphins CC met the Karachi Stallions in the Dr. Junaid Ali Shah Cricket Tournament.
Karachi Stallions batted in the first innings. Their start was slow as they lost the openers quickly. Afroz Hassan and Fahad Jabbar, however, consolidated a partnership to get the Stallions back on track. Hassan top-scored for his team with a dashing 73 off 41 balls. From the Dolphins side, Fauz ul Hasan knocked over two batsmen, slowing down the flow of the runs. Contributing with small scores, the lower middle order carried Karachi Stallions to a respectable total of 176.
In response, the Dolphins CC openers took it upon themselves to overpower the opposition's bowlers with some incredible hitting. Fauz ul Hasan capped his bowling performance with a striking batting display, scoring 89 off 60 deliveries. His well-constructed innings was partnered with Ali Shah's 54 off 47. Chasing 177, the two openers did most of the job for their side. The remaining batsmen did well to deliver the final few runs after the openers lost their wickets. Karachi Stallions' bowlers could not contain the runs as the target was chased down in 19.3 overs.
Dolphins CC won the match with 8 wickets to spare.
