Saeed Akhtar Cricket Club went up against Cricket Experts in a match that was thoroughly dominated by the latter.
SACC came out to bat in the first innings, getting off to a jittery start. Khuzaima Bin Tanveer toppled over the top three batsmen, rattling their stumps before they got a chance to settle on the crease. The batting proceedings from here on were slow as Jamal Amir and Haris Alam tried to post a respectable total on the board. Shehroz Shah, however, did not allow any runs to flow freely, picking 3 wickets in the middle for just 19 runs. Backed by Tanveer's impressive bowling figures earlier in the innings, Shehroz Shah ensured that the opposition was knocked over inside 18 overs. Cricket Experts were set a modest target of 122.
The second innings chase was a cakewalk for the Experts. Their openers set the stage with an aggressive display. Umar Mateen scored 35 off 22 and Alam Zaib managed 16 off 6 after a flurry of boundaries. After the loss of their wickets, the remaining batsmen chipped in with quick-fire 20+ scores. Operating at nearly 12 runs an over, Cricket Experts secured their target in under 11 overs.
Cricket Experts cruised to an authoritative win by 6 wickets.
