UCP United took on Raavi Gymkhana in a hard-fought clash.
Batting first, UCP United openers started steadily. Habib Ullah scored 57 off 34 before Muhammad Umair knocked him over. Following this, however, UCP batsmen started losing the plot. A few batsmen got into the double figures but were unable to cross the 20-run mark. Aizaz Khan picked 3 wickets for 22 runs and helped wrap up the innings in just under 19 overs. UCP United managed to set a target of 152.
In response, Raavi Gymkhana started their chase carefully. The openers put them on track but lost their wickets soon after. Abdul Moiz at No. 3 secured the top-score for his side with 46 off 47 balls. From UCP's side, Hazrat Shireen kept derailing the chase by striking thrice in the middle. Overall, the batsmen struggled to keep up with the required run rate, closing their innings at 141 runs.
UCP won the game as Gymkhana fell 10 runs short of the target.
