T&M Warriors and Suleman Textile Stallions Junior went head-to-head against each other on 12th August at the TMC Ground.
Warriors batted first with Younus Tai and Shehzad Panjwani opening the innings. Tai smashed 28 runs at a strike rate of 200, however, got out by Usman Salim. Panjwani remained not out throughout the 20 overs, however, managed to score 10 runs only. Hamza Mukaty, the lower-order batsman, scored the highest runs of the innings i.e. 29. Zohaib Baghdadi was the star bowler, as he bagged 3 wickets.
Stallions started the second innings with openers Haseeb ur Rehman and M Ali Alam. Both scored a total of 62 runs. The chase of 174 runs was unsuccessful for Stallions, as Warriors’ bowlers dominated. M Alam Bhimani and Owais Maskatiya bagged 2 wickets each, while Hamza Shahnawaz dismissed one batsman.
As a result, Stallions lost 6 wickets while scoring 131 runs and ran short of balls. Hence, losing the match by 42 runs.
