Arsalan Iqbal CC and Karachi Stallions went against each other on 14th August at Hill Park Cricket Ground.
Stallions started the first innings with openers Muhammad Nafay and Jahanzaib Sultan. Jahanzaib was successful in smashing 31 runs off just 15 balls. In addition to this, Abdullah Fazal smashed 63 runs off 30 balls. Both these innings, along with Fahad Jabbar’s innings were crucial in driving Stallions to a total of 179 runs. The bowlers were also stunning. Sheraz Hussain, Daniyal Rajput and Suftan Butt bagged 3 wickets each.
Waleed Khan opened the innings for Iqbal CC with a banging 73 off 33. Ammar Iqbal’s innings was also crucial in adding 43 more runs. The chase went smooth, as the bowlers were able to dismiss only 3 batsmen.
As a result, Iqbal CC dominated and easily won the match by 7 wickets.
