HMH Boutique batted first against Royal Strikers at the Master Champions League Season 1. The team lost opener Kashif Khan for duck but seemed to recover well after that. M Jawwad scored 32 and M Alam Bhimani posted a fighting 41. Once the duo were dismissed however the team simply fell apart, throwing away their wickets, eventually ending at a low 131 for 9 in 2o overs. None of the other batters were able to score effectively. Strikers bowlers did well to limit the opposition with Asad Sumar, Salman Bawany and Saad Sumar picking wickets when needed, taking 2 scalps each.
In response, Royal Strikers made quick work of the target with no hesitation in the chase. Opener Umair Tariq took the reins with a sublime 75 off 42 and remained not out to carry his side to an easy win. His partner Ejaz Khan also scored a fitting half century as the side cruised to victory in just 13.1 overs.
