K-Town Cricket Club and Malik Sports went against each other on 6th September.
Taha Israel and Muhammad Rayan opened the innings for Malik Sports, however, both got out on extremely low scores. The batters displayed a sloppy effort, as they lost early wickets and were not able to make a meaningful contribution. Ahsan Manzoor remained the highest scorer with his score of 23 runs only. The bowlers successfully executed their tactics, as Babar Shaikh and Taha Karsaz bagged 3 wickets each. In addition to this, Saad Dawood bagged 2 wickets. As a result, K-Town restricted Malik Sports to a score of 97 runs only.
K-Town started the second innings to chase the low-score target. However, the striking opener, Zaid Mianoor got out on a duck by Adnan Saleem. Atif Ahmed, the non-striking batter, continued the effort and smashed 44 runs. In addition to this, Ahmed Kapadia’s half-century, which was scored off 44 balls, was a crucial contribution to the score. The innings included 9 boundaries.
As a result, K-Town successfully chased the target and won by 8 wickets.
