Roomi Royals and Archi Home Patriots went against each other on 16th September at the TMC Cricket Ground.
Archi Homes opened the first innings with Shahriyar Shahid and Adnan Salim, however, both displayed a poor performance. Adnan Salim, the one-down batter, gained the halted momentum, as he smashed 93 massive runs. He batted at a phenomenal strike rate of 178.85. In addition to this, Afnan Karim scored 41 off 32 balls. The bowlers displayed a medicore effort, with Ghulam Mustafa bagging 2 wickets. The batters were ferocious with their performance, as they posted a mammoth total of 200 runs.
The massive target set by Archi Homes exerted great pressure on Royals’ batters. Though Ghulam Mustafa, the opening batter, smashed 59 runs, however, he was unable to lead the team to a win, as he got run out by Noman Ampara. The bowlers finished the batters’ job, as they fiercely dominated. Rehan Hanif was the star bowler, as he bagged 3 crucial wickets.
The great display of batting led Archi Homes to a stunning win by 54 runs.
