Ridan Warriors Dominate by 89 Runs Against Revolution Star

Ridan Warriors and Revolution Star MashaAllah went against each other on 26th September at TMC Ground.

Anas Ahmed and Fayyaz Hussain opened the innings for Warriors. Both the openers added 63 runs to the board. In addition to this, the one-down batter, Umair Monick, smashed 71 runs off 49 balls and was the highest scorer of the innings. Muhammad Asif, Shahzad Ahmed and Yaqoob Jan bagged 2 wickets each. However, they were unable to stop the power packed innings from Umair, and the cameos played by lower-order batters, Hammad Idrees, Anus Jawed and Asad Akhter. Hence, posting a total of massive 183 runs.

Muhammad Raheel and Nasar Shibli opened the innings for Stars. However, both lost wickets on fewer runs of 3 and 5 respectively. The following batters lost their wickets at 5 runs each and a duck respectively. Hence, failing to make a significant contribution. Sameee Ahmedani led the bowling attack, bagging 4 crucial wickets at an economy rate of 3.50.

Due to the poor performance of Stars’ batters they were unable to chase the score and lost all their wickets in the 16th over only. Therefore, Warriors won the match by a massive margin of 89 runs.
