Legends CC went against Arsalan Iqbal C.C on 21st October at Young Fighter Ground.
Batting first, Muhammad Afzal and Omer Khan provided a small but steady start to Legends CC. Legend CC’s highest run scorer Raja Iftikhar scored 37 on 36 balls. Quick fall of wickets and relatively less support from the middle order helped restrict Legends CC to a score of 130 runs. The remarkable bowling effort of Arsalan Iqbal C.C was led by Talha Farooqi who took 4 wickets in his 4 overs spell.
Arsalan Iqbal C.C chased the target in 18.2 overs at the loss of 5 wickets. Their innings was significantly supported by of Zubair Dilawar and Irteza Khan who scored 30+ odd runs. Middle order batter Monik Khan finished the game in style by playing a brisk 16 runs innings on 9 balls. Yasir, Kamran, Areeb, Sharjeel and Atta ur Rahman contributed to the bowling unit by taking 1 wicket each. However, they failed to defend their target.
Hence, Arsalan Iqbal emerged winners in the 19th over by 5 wickets.
