Wide Mountain XI batted first against Karachi Fighters at the final of the 27th Super Challengers Cup. Mountain however lost both their openers cheaply before Khansha stepped in to contribute a valuable 36 runs. Abdur Raheem however was the key batter for his side with a fighting 52 while Zafar Ali’s explosive 48 off 28 helped Mountain XI to a healthy total of 173 for 6 in 20 overs. Fighters bowlers started off well but were unable to contain the opposition and add pressure when needed. Sadiq Shah and Zeeshan Ahmed took 2 wickets each for their side.
In response Karachi Fighters were bundled out for a low 130 runs with none of their players able to build an innings and really take off. Faizan Ur Rehman was the only player to show any intent with 37 runs while the rest of the team threw away their wickets. Abdur Raheem was outstanding in his spell, picking up 3 wickets and giving very few runs. Zafar Ali also took 2 wickets.
Mountain XI won by a mammoth 43 runs and were crowned champions of the 27th Super Challengers Cup
