Super Daddy Club went against Governor XI on 4th December at SKBZ.
Batting first, Super Daddy posted a mammoth total of 216 at the loss of only 1 wicket in 20 overs. Rehan Shaikh and Shahzad Jumani opened the innings. Shahzad was phenomenal as he smashed a century off just 49 balls, hitting 6 fours and 8 sixes. However, his partner Rehan got run out at 17 runs only. The one-down batter Adeel Mansha scored 58 off 35 at a strike rate of 165.71 and got retired. The bowlers displayed a poor effort, as they were unable to restrict the batters and dismiss them.
Wajji and Tamim opened the chase and got out on 1 and 6 runs respectively. Farrukh stabilised the innings to some extent scoring of 45. However, Shameer dismissed him. The batters were unable to gain momentum, as the huge total built pressure on them. Rehan Shaikh, Ali Mufti and Shameer stood out as they bagged 2 wickets each.
Hence, Super Daddy defended their total and won the match in 18.2 overs. They dismissed all the batters of the opponents, restricting them to a score of 125 runs.
