Bank Al-Habib went against Dubai Islamic Bank on 18th December at Eastern Star Ground.
Batting first, Bank Al-Habib posted a total of 182 runs in 18 overs at the loss of all wickets. Mujahid Hassan, the opener and Zakir Malik, the one-down batter scored 63 and 60 runs respectively. They give a phenomenal start to the team. Zain Ul Abideen, Tabish Nawab and Abdul Moeed bagged 2 wickets each. However, bowlers were dashing with their effort.
Zain Ul Abideen and Muhammad Salman opened the innings, scoring 40 and 32 runs respectively. They gave a good start to the team. In addition to this, Waseem Ali and Misbah added 46 and 42 runs respectively. Though the batters displayed a stunning effort, the bowlers’ performance out did them. Wasif Hanif bagged 2 wickets, while Waqas Imtiaz took a single wicket.
As a result, Bank Al-Habib restricted Dubai Bank to a score of 177 in 18 overs. Hence, emerging winners by 5 runs only.
