Intellexal Solutions went against Hill Park Blues on 25th December at Hill Park Cricket Ground.
Yousuf Rasheed and Saad Jaka opened the innings for Hill Park Blues, scoring 34 and 7 runs respectively. Hikmat Khan added 25 runs off 33 balls. The bowlers displayed good intent as Khalil Ahmed led the attack, bagging 3 wickets. In addition to this, Farhan Zaman, Aamir Abbas and Rasheed Ahmed took 2 wickets each. Hence, Blues posted a total of 111 runs only at the loss of all wickets in 18 overs only.
The openers of Intellexal Solution gave an underwhelming start. However, the one-down batter, Faizan Azam, smashed 61 runs at a strike rate of 145.25. He hit 6 fours and 4 sixes. Hamza Anees bagged 2 wickets. However, the bowlers were unable to build pressure due to the low-scoring target. Cameos by Sabir Zaman and Khalil Ahmed were crucial.
As a result, Intellexal Solutions chased the target in 16.2 overs with 4 wickets to spare.
