Jubilee Life Insurance batted first. Their top order completely collapsed with Muhammad Hafeez being the lone warrior. He couldn’t do much as wickets kept on tumbling from the other end. The bowlers picked up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to score runs easily. The bowlers dominated the batsmen & Jubilee Life Insurance was bowled out for 131 runs in 19.5 overs. Muhammad Hafeez was the highest scorer with a fighting 52. Faizan Surani lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets & found good support from Abdul Mohid & M Faisal who picked up a couple of wickets each.
Adamjee Life Assurance came in to chase down this target. They were off to a shaky start as they lost an early wicket in the powerplay but that didn’t phase them much as their top order showed responsibility. They got their starts but were unable to score big. Mujahid Siddiqui played an innings of 31 runs setting up the chase for the middle order batsmen. Abdul Mohid came in & did the finishing for his team. He played a fiery innings of 49 runs off just 22 balls taking his team over the line comfortably. Usman Qaiser picked up 2 wickets but it was too little too late
