UBl Insurers batted first & were given a flying start by their openers. Both openers were in fine form & made full use of it. Pervaiz Ali showed an absolute batting masterclass scoring 82 runs off just 39 deliveries with Kamran Wali playing a cameo of 48 runs. The rest of the batsmen got their starts but were unable to score big as wickets kept on falling at regular intervals. Abdul Mohid, Maqbool Zaidi & Shrikant parmar picked up a couple of wickets each but went for plenty. UBL Insurers posted gigantic total of 201 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.
Adamjee Life Assurance were off to a shaky start but recovered well. Their top order batsmen M Faisal played a sublime knock of 63 runs with Saad Hassan scoring 48. Once the pair was sent back the bowlers made their comeback picking up wickets at regular intervals & completely drying up the runs. Obaid Siddiqui came in at the back end of the innings & smashed a 5 ball 25 which included 4 towering sixes but it was too late as plenty runs were left. Irfan Rehmat picked up 3 wickets keeping the batsmen in check.
