Karachi Fighters batted first with their openers in fine form. Faizan Ur Rehman gave them a flying start scoring a quick fire 50 off 36 deliveries. Despite an early wicket batsmen were still hitting the ball towards all parts of the area. Irteza Khan came in & smashed the ball towards all parts of the ground scoring 70 runs off just 36 deliveries which included 6 towering sixes & 4 boundaries. Mufti Mehmood picked up a couple of wickets but other bowlers went for plenty. Karachi Fighters posted a mammoth total of 209 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Mavericks came in to chase this target & were off to a disastrous start loosing 2 wickets early on. Aurangzaib scored 31 runs & Qasim Azam scored 45 runs. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The bowlers dominated through out the innings & wickets were falling left right & center. Mavericks were bowled out for 141 runs in 16.1 overs.
