Jubilee Life Insurance batted first with their openers giving them a flying start. Ibad Anis smashed a 37 balls 43 & Muhammad Hafeez took the bowlers to the absolute cleaners. There was absolute carnage out their as he was hitting the ball towards all parts of the ground. Muhammad Hafeez played a masterclass of an innings scoring 116 runs off just 56 deliveries. The rest of the batsmen were unable to score much. Umar Ali picked up a couple of wickets but the rest of the bowlers went for plenty. Jubilee Life Insurance posted a mammoth total of 216 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Salam Takaful Pakistan Limited came in to chase this target & were off to a disastrous start. They never found their footings in the chase loosing 4 wickets early on. Hammad Mughal scored a fiery 41 off just 14 deliveries. Sarim Khan & Shah Hussain scored 22 & 27 runs respectively. The rest of the batsmen couldn’t do much as bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals. Usman Qaiser ripped apart the batting lineup picking up 3 wickets & found good support from Khizer Ali & M. Farhan who picked up a couple of wickets each.
