Kent Warriors outplay Babar Brothers

Kent Warriors batted first & were off to a flying start despite loosing a wicket early. Muhammad Arsalan Farzand smashed a 29 ball 34. Huzaifa Munir & Akhtar Muhammad then had a partnership of 50+ runs both scoring at a quick rate. The duo scored 39 runs each. Muhammad Fareed Ullah Agah came in towards the back end of the innings & smashed 37 runs off 20 deliveries. The bowlers then picked up wickets regularly towards the back end of the innings. Zohaib Khan lead the bowling lineup picking up 4 wickets & found good support from Muhammad Umair Shaikh who picked up 3 wickets but other bowlers went for plenty. Kent Warriors posted a mammoth total of 205 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.

Babar Brothers came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start with their openers dominating upfront. Syed Muhammad Tahami played a sublime knock of 53 runs off 33 deliveries, Fahad Babar played second fiddle to him scoring 31. The bowlers then picked up 2 wickets in quick successions. Muhammad Faizan Khan Bari came in next & played a fiery innings of 50 off just 25 deliveries.  The rest of the batsmen couldn’t do much as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Bilal Manzoor ripped through the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets & found good support from Noor Habib & Muhammad Fareed Ullah Agah who picked up 3 &2 wickets respectively. Babar Brothers were bowled out for 183 runs.
