Medicam Strikers came in to bat first with both their openers in fine form. Their openers made full use of their form & gave their team a flying start. Danish Afridi & Ali Naqi both were hitting the ball cleanly towards all parts of the ground. The duo completely obliterated the bowling attack hitting every bowler out of the attack. The duo showed an absolute power hitting masterclass & had a partnership of 200+ runs. Danish Afridi played a sublime knock of 137 runs off just 64 deliveries. Ali Naqi also scored a mind blowing century. He scored 102 runs off just 54 deliveries. Danish Moin was the only bowler who managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Medicam Strikers posted a mammoth total of 248 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.
Bright Gymkhana came in to chase this target & were off to a decent start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Danish Moin managed to score 43 off 32. Sohail Fazal scored a fiery 42 off 27 deliveries. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers then made their comeback. The bowlers then dominated through out the innings completely tearing apart the batting lineup. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at quick successions. Uzair Akber was unplayable as he picked up 4 wickets. Nadeem Akhtar managed to pickup 3 wickets as well. Bright Gymkhana were bowled out for 134 runs in 17.3 overs.
