City Warriors came in to bat first & were off to a decent start. Loosing 2 wickets early on they were still scoring at a healthy rate. Sufiyan scored 16 off 17 where as Qazafi scored 13 off 16. Awais Rauf came in & was looking solid. He was unable to accelerate as ue was running out of partners from the other end as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals. Awais Rauf played a solid knock of 42 runs off 34 deliveries. The middle order batsmen managed to get their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings. Syed Imran Haider lead the bowling lineup picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Zia Moinuddin who picked up a couple of wickets. City Warriors managed to score 124 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Rameen Fighters came in to chase this target & were off to a flyer. They managed to lose only 1 wicket inside the powerplay & were scoring at a very healthy rate. Shahzaib Dyer played a solid knock of 31 runs off 29 deliveries. Umair Tariq scored 39 off 44. The rest of the batting lineup couldn’t do much as the bowlers made their comeback & started to pick up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed. Syed Imran Haider managed to show some sort of resistance late in the innings as he scored crucial 11 runs off 9 deliveries taking his team over the line on the last ball of the match. Awais Rauf lead the blowing lineup picking up 3 wickets. Samad also managed to pickup a couple of wickets but it wasn’t enough.
