United Stars came in to bat first & were off to a decent start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Noman Khalid scored 42 off 30 where as Yahya Jawaid managed to score run a ball 22. Shayan Rasheed came in next & scored 28 off 17. The bowlers then made their comeback & started picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The middle order & the lower order completely collapsed. Fayyaz Khan came in & scored 17 off 14. Noman Usman lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Haseeb Yousuf & Naeem Razzak who picked up a couple of wickets each. United Stars were bowled out for 168 in 19.5 overs.
Smashers Cricket Club came in to chase this target & were off to a similar start. They also managed to loose only 1 wicket inside the powerplay. Saad Abdul Rehman & Danish Arif put up a decent partnership at the top. Danish Arif scored a brisk 22 off 14 where as Saad Abdul Rehman played a cameo of 30 runs off 19 deliveries. Haseeb Yousuf & Iqbal Chand then put up a partnership of 50+ runs putting their team in a good position. Haseeb Yousuf scored 30 off 22 where as Iqbal Chand managed to score 24 off 19. Once the partnership was broken the bowlers then made their comeback. The bowlers then dominated the second half of the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The lower order completely collapsed. Shahbaz Malik was like a magician with the ball in hand as he completely decimated the batting lineup picking up 5 wickets. He found good support from Uzair Ahmed who managed to pickup a couple of wickets as well. Smashers Cricket Club were bowled out for 131 runs in 18.3 overs.
