SQ CC came in to bat first & were off to a horrendous start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay for very less runs. The bowlers never let the momentum go towards the batting side. The batsmen never found their footings through out the innings as the bowlers were dominant from the word go. The bowlers bowled at tight line & lengths picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. As a result the batting lineup completely collapsed. Muhammad Talha Rizwan was the only batsman to score in double figures as he scored 26 runs off 23 deliveries. Tauqeer Rafiq bajwa & Umer Hussain ripped through the batting lineup as they picked up 3 wickets each. Tauqeer Malik also chipped in with his couple of wickets. SQ CC were bowled out for 69 runs in 16.2 overs.
Karachi Fighters came in to chase this target & were off to a decent start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Noman Suriya played a solid knock of 27 runs off 25 deliveries. Tauqeer Malik & Zeeshan Ahmed then put up a match winning partnership. Tauqeer Malik scored 19 runs off 14 deliveries where as Zeeshan Ahmed scored 14 runs off 19 deliveries taking their side over the line comfortably. Muhammad Talha Rizwan & S M Rehan picked up a wicket each but it was too little too late.
