Team NSL dominant over Allied Engineering

Team NSL came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Both their openers were in fine form & made full use their form. Farrukh Shahid & Masood Shamsi gave their team a flying start making full use of the powerplay. The duo put up a partnership of 50+ runs with Farrukh Shahid playing the role of the aggressor as he was timing the ball beautifully. Masood Shamsi kept the score board ticking from the other end. Masood Shamsi scored 26 runs off 24 deliveries. Farrukh Shahid played a sublime knock of 62 runs off just 31 deliveries. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers managed to creep their way into the match as they picked up wickets at regular intervals. Batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings. Sibtain Raza came in towards the death overs & played a cameo of 23 runs off just 10 deliveries. Sumair Saleem also scored 16 off 8. Khalid Ali Khan also chipped in with his 15 off 7 ending the innings on a high note. Ibrahim Huzaifa lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Bilal Ahmed & Ahsan Naseer who picked up a couple of wickets each. Team NSL posted a total of 176 runs for the loss of 9 wickets.

Allied Engineering came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Loosing their opener for a duck they still managed to score at a healthy rate. Haider Qutbuddin & Ibrahim Huzaifa managed to put up some sort of a partnership as Haider Qutbuddin scored 10 off 13 & Ibrahim Huzaifa scored 18 off 17. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Batsmen came in & looked to play themselves in but were unable to do so. Ammar Muhammad managed to score 23 off 17. S.M Salik also contributed with his 19 off 21. Mohammad Muzammil Tariq came in towards the back end of the innings & scored 23 runs off 25 deliveries. No other batsman was able to do much as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets. Khalid Ali Khan was absolutely unplayable as he tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. Sher Muhammad also managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Allied Engineering were bowled out for 115 runs in 19 overs.
