City Warriors came in to bat first & were off to a dreadful start loosing 4 wickets inside the powerplay. The bowlers completely steam rolled over the top order. Jawwad Amin stood strong from the other end but was running out of partners as wickets kept on falling left right & center. The bowlers dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The batting lineup completely collapsed & Jawwad Amin was the only notable batsman who scored run a ball 31. Ali Saleem lead the bowling attack picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Khuwaja Muneeb who picked up a couple of wickets. City Warriors were bowled out for 91 runs in 15.2 overs.
Thunder Birds came in to chase this target & were off to a flying start. Their openers Saif Haidar & Safi Ullah dominated from the word go. The duo made full use of the powerplay & got their team off to a flyer. The duo put up a partnership of 50+ runs single handedly ensuring their side the victory. Saif Haidar played a fiery innings of 47 off 28 where as Safi Ullah scored 32 off 22. Abdul Samad came in & scored 6 runs taking his team over the line. Farhan managed to pickup 4 wickets but it was too little too late.
