Alpha CC came in to bat first & were off to a flying start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a high rate. Muhammad Tehseen & Faizan Azam put up a fiery partnership of 100+ runs giving their team the perfect start. The duo middled the ball from word go & had the bowlers on the back foot since the start. Muhammad Tehseen departed after playing a sublime knock of 67 runs off 40 deliveries. Muhammad Yousuf Halari came in & he contributed with his 11 off 10. The bowlers then managed to pull back things a little towards the back end of the innings as they picked up wickets at regular intervals. Faizan Azam remained unbeaten as he played a fiery innings of 78 runs off 52 deliveries powering through the innings. Adnan Siddiqui, Tahir Iqbal, Saad Omer & Aziz Khan managed to pickup a wicket each. Alpha CC posted a total of 187 runs for the loss of 5 wickets.
Askari CC came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Syed Inam Agha gave them a fiery start as he scored at a high rate. Batsmen came & went around him but he stood tall taking the attack to the bowlers. Waqas Aslam came in & he put up a brilliant partnership of 50+ runs with Syed Inam Agha. Waqas Aslam played a solid knock of 31 runs off 22 deliveries. Syed Inam Agha followed him soon as he played a sublime knock of 89 runs off 46 deliveries taking his team close to victory. The lower order batsmen came in & finished the job for their team securing the victory. Raheel Abdul Majeed managed to pickup a couple of wickets but the rest went for plenty.
