NBP Lions came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a couple of wickets early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Farrukh Shahid & Raziq Kayani put up a decent partnership giving their team a decent start. Farrukh Shahid scored 29 runs off 21 deliveries where as Raziq Kayani played a solid knock of 38 runs off 31 deliveries. Shakir Ahmed khan came in & he contributed with his 28 off 19. Azhar Khan managed to score 11 off 9. Salman Ali Memon & Ahmed Ali then put up a partnership of 50+ runs at the death overs ending the innings on a high. Salman Ali Memon scored 27 off 13 where as Ahmed Ali played a cameo of 32 runs off just 15 deliveries. Ryner Gill managed to pickup a couple of wickets. Rahil Yousuf, Haris Shams & Shafique Raja picked up a wicket each. NBP Lions posted a total of 192 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Maersk Pakistan came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing 2 wickets early on they were scoring at healthy rate. Ryner Gill & Haris Shams put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a decent start. Haris Shams departed after scoring 23 runs off 19 deliveries. Once he was dismissed the bowlers then dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. While wickets kept on tumbling from the other end Ryner Gill stood tall from one end. He played a sublime knock of 63 runs off 58 deliveries but it was too big of a task for him to achieve alone. Shuja uddin & Ahmed Ali picked up a couple of wickets each.
