Spartans United came in to bat first & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a wicket early on they were scoring at a healthy rate. Muhammad Fahad Ansari & Waseem Akbar put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a solid start. Muhammad Fahad Ansari played a solid knock of 32 runs off 29 deliveries. Waseem Akbar looked good before he was dismissed after scoring 47 runs off 46 deliveries. Fareed Shah Arbab came in & he upped the anti. He took the attack to the bowlers & played a fiery innings of 40 runs off just 25 deliveries. The rest of the batsmen couldn’t do much as the bowlers started to pick up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Zahid Akhtar & Asif Siddiqui lead the bowling lineup picking up a couple of wickets each. Spartans United posted a total of 158 runs for the loss of 8 wickets.
Dalal Industries came in to chase this target & were off to a dreadful start loosing 3 wickets inside the powerplay. The bowlers were dominant as the batsmen struggled to spend some time at the crease. Haider Ali Bangash & Noman Butt then managed to put up some sort of a partnership. Noman Butt departed after scoring 10 runs off 16 deliveries. Raza Tahir came in & he scored 19 runs off 17 deliveries. Haider Ali Bangash joined him soon after playing a sublime knock of 52 runs off 39 deliveries. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as Bahadur Ali Kheskheli lead the bowling attack. He single handedly tore apart the batting lineup picking up 4 wickets. He found good support from Ghulam Mustafa who picked up a couple of wickets. Dalal Industries were bowled out for 117 runs in 19.3 deliveries.
