Jubilee Life Insurance came in to bat first with both their openers in fine form. Their openers made full use of their form. Ibad Anis & Muhammad Hafeez put up a partnership of 100+ runs giving their team an accelerating start. There was clean power hitting on display from both the ends. The duo took the attack towards the bowlers blasting away the bowling lineup from the word go. Muhammad Hafeez departed after playing a sublime knock of 53 runs off 41 deliveries. Muhammad Mujahid came in & he played a cameo of 31 runs off just 15 deliveries. Ibad Anis departed after he agonizingly fell short of a well deserved century as he scored 90 runs off 56 deliveries. Faisal Malik & Arsalan manage to pickup a wicket each. Jubilee Life Insurance posted a total of 200 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.
UBL Insurers came in to chase this target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a wicket inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Yahya Javed & Syed Sharjeel Ahmed put up a decent partnership at the top. Yahya Javed scored run a ball 26. Syed Sharjeel Ahmed played a solid knock of 40 runs off 30 deliveries. The rest of the batting lineup completely collapsed as the bowlers kept on picking up wickets at regular intervals not allowing the batsmen to settle in. Akhter Abbas was absolutely unplayable with the ball in hand. He completely tore away the batting lineup picking up 5 wickets. He found good support from Muhammad Mohsin who picked up 3 wickets & Asim mukhtar who picked up a couple of wickets as well. UBL Insurers were bowled out for 132 runs in 19.5 overs.
