Ilham Sports came in to bat first with both their openers in fine form. Their openers made full use of their form as Ali Zain Haider & Zohaib Hanif put up a partnership of 50+ runs giving their team a fiery start. The duo middled the ball from the word go & completely dominated the bowling lineup single handedly. Ali Zain Haider departed after playing a solid knock of 34 runs off 24 deliveries. Zain Ahmed came in & he played with the same intent. He too started to hit the ball cleanly from the word go. Power hitting continued from both the ends as the bowlers seemed to have no answer to such an onslaught. Zohaib Hanif played a sublime knock of 107 runs off just 64 deliveries dismantling the bowling attack. Zain Ahmed played a sublime knock of 49 runs off 32 deliveries as well. Azhar Ali Shah & Shayan Rasheed managed to pickup a wicket each. Ilham Sports posted a total of 196 runs for the loss of 2 wickets.
New Way Motors came in to chase thi target & were off to a shaky start. Despite loosing a wicket inside the powerplay they were scoring at a healthy rate. Noman Khalid played a cameo of 30 runs off 15 deliveries. Zaki Hasan contributed with his 17 off 19 as well. Once the duo was dismissed the bowlers picked up from where the batsmen left. The bowlers dominated through out the innings picking up wickets at quick successions not allowing the batsmen to settle in. The batting lineup completely collapsed as batsmen got their starts but were unable to convert them into a big innings. Yahya Javed scored 16 off 9. Fayyaz Khan came in & he scored 19 off 18. Riyaz Ali played a cameo of 21 runs off 9 deliveries as well. The bowlers kept on picking up wickets completely running rampants over the batting lineup. Mustafa Aman Ali lead the bowling lineup picking up 3 wickets. He found good support from Kazim Khanani & Imran Sajjad who picked up a couple of wickets each. New Way Motors were bowled out for 133 runs in 17.4 deliveries.
