Falaknaz Kutiyana Hawks came in to bat first & the opening batsmen, Salman Sangani and Sheheryar Shahid, got off to a flying start, with Sangani scoring 24 runs off 12 balls and Shahid contributing 31 runs off 18 deliveries. Their partnership provided a solid foundation for the Hawks. However, after the departure of the openers, the rest of the batting lineup struggled to find their rhythm. Umair Usman managed to score 23 runs off 29 balls but couldn’t accelerate the run rate. The opposition bowlers, led by Idrees Amin and Owais Arif Sultanpur, bowled brilliantly, picking up three wickets each. Hamza Rizwan and Sajid Lakhani also made significant contributions, taking two wickets each. As a result, the Falaknaz Kutiyana Hawks were bowled out for a total of 111 runs in 17.4 overs.
Chasing a modest target of 112 runs, the Wintex Jetpur Strikers had a solid opening partnership as well. Ahmed Asif played a remarkable unbeaten innings, scoring 71 runs off just 50 balls. He displayed excellent strokeplay and anchored the chase brilliantly. Adamjee Tai also contributed with 27 runs off 25 balls, while Saad Asif scored 10 runs off 12 deliveries.
