Yousuf Halari and Abdul Rehman continued the onslaught, contributing 14 off 16 and 48 off 29 balls, respectively. The batsmen capitalized on the good start, propelling the score to 168 for 7. Sadiq Suriya and Sameer Javed picked up two wickets each for Vanthali Classic, but the rest of the bowling attack struggled to contain the opposition’s batting firepower.
In response, Vanthali Classic faced a daunting target but stumbled early on, losing five wickets within the powerplay. Rameez Mehboob showed some resistance with a valiant knock of 32 off 22 balls. However, the rest of the batting lineup struggled to withstand the onslaught from the Al Basar Halari Hawks’ bowling attack. Suleman Saleem was the standout bowler, claiming a remarkable four-wicket haul and proving to be a nightmare for the Vanthali Classic batsmen. Salman Hussain and Samad Motlani contributed with two wickets each as Vanthali Classic was bundled out for a meager 55 runs in just 10 overs.
