PIL Eagles batted first & encountered an early setback with the loss of a wicket. However, opener Naseeb Shah played an outstanding innings that left everyone in awe. He scored a remarkable 115 runs off just 46 deliveries, a knock filled with 14 boundaries and 6 towering sixes. Naseeb Shah’s explosive performance set the stage for PIL Eagles’ innings, and his batting display was a spectacle to behold. Salman contributed 25 off 18, but unfortunately, the rest of the batting lineup struggled to provide support. Shafaq Risers’ bowlers Ishaq, Umair, and Sheikh Usman claimed 2 wickets each. PIL Eagles posted an impressive total of 185/7.
In response, Shafaq Risers faced a daunting target of 186. They also lost two early wickets, but opener M.Imran fought back with 23 off 17 balls, while Sheikh Usman added 21 off 19. Umair contributed 29 off 28, and Waqas Ahmed chipped in with 15 off 11. Despite their efforts, Shafaq Risers’ batting lineup couldn’t withstand the pressure created by PIL Eagles’ bowlers. Bilal and Fayyaz were exceptional with the ball, both securing 3 wickets each, and Umair picked up 2 wickets. In the end, Shafaq Risers were bowled out for 137 in 18.3 overs
