However, opener Zakir Malik turned the tide with a phenomenal performance, smashing an incredible 107 runs off just 46 deliveries. His innings was a spectacle, featuring 10 fours and 9 colossal sixes that left the spectators in awe. While Zakir Malik’s brilliance was the highlight, Usman Shah contributed with 26 runs off 16 deliveries, and Naveed Nagda remained unbeaten with a crucial 47 off 29 balls. Unfortunately, the rest of the batting lineup struggled, but AZ Warriors managed to post a competitive total of 240/7.
In response, HMR Waterfront faced a challenging chase. They lost an early wicket, and despite efforts from opener Fahad Jabbar scored 19 off 14, Arif Khan scored 40 off 28, Ahsan Riaz Gaziani scored 26 off 31, and Usman Naviwala scored 25 off 17, the rest of their batting lineup faltered under pressure.
