It was a one sided affair when Agha Khan Gymkhana faced Model Colony Gymkhana in a friendly fixture. Agha Khan Gymkhana batted first and were off to a solid start. Openers Irfan Soorani and Asif Karim scored 41 and 30 runs respectively. This partnership was followed by a duck and another quick wicket, but Agha Khan Gymkhana recovered from the situation with the help of Anis Karim and Ali Khurram. Anis scored 29 runs off 25 balls while Ali Khurram bagged 23 runs. Mohid was the star bowler for Model Colony Gymkhana with 3 wickets for 26 runs, being supported by Farhan who got 2 wickets. Agha Khan Gymkhana finished their innings with 161 runs for the loss of 6 wickets.
Model Colony Gymkhana had to score around 7.4 runs per over in order to successfully chase the target. But the batting display of the top order was not upto the mark. As batsmen failed to capitalize the starts they had and none of the top five batsmen could trouble the bowlers much. Mohid was the top scorer with 42 runs off just 17 balls, but his heroics failed to save the day for Model Colony Gymkhana. Akbar and Ali Khurram took two wickets apiece while Kashif Ali took 3 for 7 in his phenomenal spell. Model Colony Gymkhana were all out in the last over for 118 runs. Agha Khan Gymkhana won the match by 43 runs.
