ICT v ZMCC
ZMCC batted first and had a disastrous day of cricket! The team simply imploded, unable to keep their wickets intact or score runs effectively. ICT bowlers were lethal with the ball rippingt through the opposition. Anas Ahmed and Rafay Malik were the key culprits with 3 wickets a piece. Shahzaib Ahmed took things further, taking another 2 wickets. ZMCC were reeling with their most notable batsman Mubashir Ahmed contributing 18 runs. ICT bowled out ZMCC for a paltry 89 runs in 17.2 overs.
With a very low target to chase, ICT always had the advantage. Despite losing opener Ibaad for just 7 runs, the team recovered well to comfortably chase down the target in 13.3 overs. Talha Ahmedani top scored for his side with an impressive 44 runs. Ali Nasim fought back, picking up 2 wickets for ZMCC but was unable to defend his team's total.
ICT won by 6 wickets.
