TRG Vs Parco
TRG were to bat first against the PARCO in the first innings of the match with M. Faizan and Tauseef Ahmed leading from the front. M. Faizan seemed to be in pretty good form and he delivered by scoring a decent 26 runs before losing his wicket to Syed Danish. On the other Tauseef Ahmed went down after scoring only a single run. Anyhow, all that was left behind when Sabih Ahmed stepped onto the pitch and started his marvelous innings with the bat and scored 55 runs off 46 balls. This massive knock gave his side a very big advantage on the scoreboard. After losing his wicket in a very unfortunate manner, rest of the batting order came stumbling down, one after the other. Umair Ahmed was the only one to score 22 runs and bring the total to 145 runs in 20 overs. Khalid Shiekh was the man of the innings for the Parco, for he picked up 4 wickets in 4 overs.
Now Parco were to chase the 145 runs total in the second innings, with Ibrahim Akhtar and Khalid Shiekh leading from the front. Ibrahim Akhtar gave his side a superb start by scoring 61 runs but Khalid Sheikh wasn’t able to do much with the bat and went down for a duck. Kahlil Bugti and Syed Danish carried an effective partnership of 30 runs that brought their side on a decent rank up on the scoreboard. Hammad Khan scored 13 runs and fell victim to M. Faizan’s brutal bowling attack, who picked up 3 wickets in this innings for himself. Muhammad Ejaz was the last player to score in the double figures and he scored 27 runs. With 7 wickets down and a few balls remaining, Parco only had to make 3 more runs in order to win this contest and that’s when TRG got the better of Parco and restricted them from making any run in the last over. In 20 overs, Parco scored 143 runs at the loss of 7 wickets.
TRG won by 2 runs.
