Hafiz Amin and Rehan gave a banging start to the Allied Engineering in the first innings by carrying a massive partnership of 73 runs at an early stage of the match giving their team a decent head start. Their partnership determined the pace of the game and also got the scoreboard running in their favor. After their dismissal Raheel and Adil played a partnership of 39 runs that contributed well on the scoreboard. Zeeshan Shah was the highest wicket taker from National Foods with 2 wickets to his name. Allied Engineering scored a total of 149 runs in 20 overs.
National Foods were looking great with their performance of the opening pair at the start of the second innings. Arif Khan scored 32 runs and Irfan Khan scored a magnificent 56 runs off 37 balls. After their dismissal none of the batsmen from the top batting order were able to make a difference except for Muhammad Huzaifa who scored 11 runs and then lost his wicket. From the middle batting order we saw Adil Khan play some good shots and got some decent runs for the chase by scoring 22 runs, but eventually lost his wicket to Mohammad Salman, who was the highest wicket taker for the Allied Engineering with 4 wickets to his name. It all came down to the last pair of batsmen and Umair Ali served his team well by scoring 11 runs in those crucial moments and took his side to victory.
