Super Star C.C Vs American Doors
The first innings started off when Farhad Khalid and Jahangir Khan started to bat for the Super Star C.C against the American Doors. Both of the players played some decent cricket and scored 36 runs partnership for their team at the initial stage of the game. Idrees Amin was the lucky bowler to dismantle the opening pair and took both of their wickets down. Waqar Hafeez aka Vicky and Hannan Ahmed were the second pair to carry a 27 runs partnership and add runs on the scoreboard for their side. Khalid kaka was the man with the ball to dismantle this partnership and he later on picked up 2 more wickets in the match, making him the highest wicket taker. Shehzad Niaz and Faisal Shah played simultaneously and scored exactly the same that was 22 runs each, adding 44 runs to the total. Rest of the batting order failed tremendously on getting their hands on decent runs and the entire team was bowled out at a total of 119 runs in 20 overs.
American doors were off to a confident start with Majeed Pasta and Hammad Sheikhani leading from the front in the second innings. The opening pair carried a 38 runs partnership, from which Majeed pasta was the highest scorer with 30 runs, but lost his wicket to Shehzad Niaz who was highest wicket taker for his team. Rabish Ahmed came in at number three and scored 17 runs. Saad Gatta was the man to witness glory for his side and batted till the end, with his amazing knock of 32 runs. Saqib contributed by scoring 10 runs and in the end it was Khalid Kaka to score 10 more runs to finish the chase and walk the glory road with Saad Gatta. American Doors chased the target in 19.2 overs. It was a very close call for both sides. But in the end American Doors took home the price.
