Kamran Khan and Ajdal Aziz were the opening batsmen for the Tenpearls in the first innings against the Amadeus Super Cricketers. Ajdal Aziz was in great form and played some terrific shots. With 2 sixes and 9 boundaries, he scored 82 runs off 47 balls, whereas Kamran Khan scored only 9 runs and lost his wicket. Faiz Ul Haq and Faaz Ullah carried a very effective and contributing partnership that added decent runs on the scoreboard. They scored 52 runs from which Faiz Ul Haq scored the highest with 31 runs to his name. Zohaib Akhtar was the leading wicket taker from his side with 2 wickets to his name. After losing 5 wickets, Tenpearls scored a total of 171 runs in 20 overs.
Amadeus Super Cricketers were in pretty bad shape at the start of the second innings, where they opening pair failed tremendously to give their team a decent head start for the chase. The batting order also failed because of the superb and brutal bowling attack of the Tenpearls. The Tenpearls wasted no chance of taking down their wickets and contained them as far as they could. Ali Naqvi scored 19 runs, when he came in at number four. The top batting order didn’t do much, but Adil Ashfaq from the middle batting came to his team’s rescue and gave birth to some hope by scoring 44 runs. After his performance, we saw Rizwan Ahsan play another wonderful innings and scored 57 runs. The match came to a very interesting and exciting turn. The turn of events were so nerve cracking that it was almost impossible to predict the outcome, and that’s what happened in the end. Amadeus Super Cricketers reached the total of 171 runs, had wickets in hand but ran out of overs, and the match ended as a draw.
