AAG CC Win 2nd All Stars Tournament

What a fitting end to Kamran Ibrahim's career! In a final against Gulshan Tigers, the AAG CC batsmen opened the bat and smashed an aggressive 87 off just 36 balls at a mammoth strike rate of 241 to set his side up. The team lost a few quick wickets before Jameel stepped in to provide support on the other end with a valuable 52. Faizan Baloch kept the momentum going with a quick 27 as AAG CC ended at a huge 206 for 5 in 20 overs. Gulshan's bowlers could not stop the onslaught and were unable to pick wickets when most needed.

To chase down this target, Gulshan Tigers needed something extraordinary. Opener Talha got things started on the right track top scoring for his side with 45. The top order continued to chip away with Abdul Rehman, Asif and Faizan Choudhry scoring in their twenties but none were able to capitalize on some decent starts. After that the team simply collapsed with not a chance of chasing down the target. 6 of the batsmen were dismissed in single digits as Mubeen Chappra and Sohail Khan cleaned up the opposition, taking 3 wickets each. Kamran Ibrahim in fine fashion also took a wicket alongside Waleed, Haris and Muzammil. Gulshan Tigers were bowled out for 147 in 18.1 overs.

AAG CC won by 59 runs.
