Hush Puppies batted first against A&B and lost opener Hassan Arshad for duck! The team however remained unaffected with Afnan Karim scoring 23 and Farhan Iqbal's fiery 43 keeping the scoreboard ticking. Owais Anjum Gulzar also chipped in with a valuable 30 off 27 but the team seemed to lose their way after that. A&B bowlers continued to make inroads, picking up wickets and never letting the game get away from them. Asif Nisar and Baber Azhar were the most effective bowlers for their side with 2 wickets each. Hush Puppies ended at 133 for 7 in 20 overs.
In response, Bilal Ahmed started the run chase off right with an innings of 53 off 48 including 4 boundaries and 1 six. With a modest total to chase however, cameos of 13, 19, 16 and 21 by Saad Tariq, Umair, Humayun and Saad Ali, helped A&B to an easy victory in 18.2 overs. Hush Puppies bowling was not up to the mark.
