A&B thrashed Dayfresh in 3rd MTAX Capital Cup match by 32 runs on 15-10-2015 at Moin Khan Cricket Academy.
Batting first, the A&B played brilliantly to set a total of 220 on the board. Ahrar Ahmed and Umair Arshad batted superbly getting 55 of 39 and 74 of 38 respectively. Tanvir Ahmed was the pick of the bowlers grabbing 3 wickets at the expense of 28 runs and was supported by Nadeem Mustaq who picked up 2 wickets.
Chasing 220 was always going to be diffcult under lights, and losing Nadeem Mushtaq early was a huge blow to Dayfresh's hopes. Mudassir Fayyaz tried to hold the innings together scoring 64 of 47 balls. His dismissal meant that acheiving this total would be almost impossible. Danial Imran and Sumair Saleem chipped in with cameos of 31 and 34 respectively, but some brilliant bowling from Bilal Amin meant that Dayfresh could only manage 188.
